A life-long resident of the West Michigan area, Joe grew up in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School in 1986.  He obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.  Joe was one of two partners in Maplewood Home Builders when it was founded in 1996 and became its sole owner in 1998.  Additionally, Joe earned his real estate broker’s license in 2000.  Outside of the office, he is an avid outdoorsman and loves hunting and fishing.  Joe currently the President of the Home Builders Association of West Michigan.
